Who We Are Locally

Rooted in Pahrump. Built on Brotherhood

We’re veterans, spouses, caregivers, and neighbors—united by a shared purpose: to serve, support, and lift one another up. Through monthly meetings, community events, and peer support, we create space for camaraderie, healing, and purpose beyond service.

What sets us apart is the camaraderie you feel the moment you walk through our doors. Chapter 15 thrives on traditions built on trust, teamwork, and shared service. Our partnerships with local organizations and community leaders allow us to create real impact—right here at home.

Built on the Strength of Real Connections

At DAV Chapter 15, our mission is to uplift veterans and their families through meaningful support, dedicated advocacy, and genuine fellowship. Based in the heart of Pahrump, we’re committed to honoring the sacrifice of those who served—not just in words, but through action. We strive to build an inclusive community where every veteran in Nye County feels valued, connected, and empowered.

From rideshares to rallies, monthly meetings to quiet moments of support, our chapter is where veterans and their loved ones come to find purpose and connection. DAV Chapter 15 is more than a chapter—it’s a family, united in service and committed to continuing the legacy of those who’ve answered the call.

Mission Statement

We are dedicated to a single purpose: empowering veterans to lead high-quality lives with respect and dignity. We accomplish this by making sure veterans and their families can access the full range of benefits available to them; fighting for the interests of America’s injured hero’s on Capital Hill; and educating the public about the great sacrifices and needs of veterans transitioning back to civilian life.

It Takes a Community

We are proud to work with local businesses, veteran services, and civic groups who stand behind our mission. These partnerships allow us to expand our reach and deepen our impact across Nye County.
