Serving Those Who Served — And the Families Who Stand Beside Them
DAV Chapter 15 and DAV Auxiliary Unit 15 are proud to come together to serve veterans, surviving spouses, and families throughout the Pahrump community with the Veterans Community Care & Resource Day.
Beginning August 2026, this recurring community outreach event will be held on the last Saturday of every month from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM. The event is designed to provide a welcoming place where veterans and their families can access essential items, helpful resources, community support, and—just as importantly—people who are ready to listen and connect.
What to Expect
Visitors may receive a variety of free essentials and support based on available donations, including:
Clothing and shoes
Blankets
Hygiene and personal care items
Bottled water
Family essentials
Veteran resources and referrals
Community support information
Available items may vary each month based on donations received.
Whether you need practical assistance, information about available resources, or simply an opportunity to connect with people who understand, your DAV family is here for you. No veteran or family member should feel that they have to navigate life's challenges alone.

The Veterans Community Care & Resource Day is made possible through the generosity and support of the community. Donations are welcome and greatly appreciated. Contributions help DAV Chapter 15 and DAV Auxiliary Unit 15 continue providing essential items and support to veterans and families throughout Pahrump.
Community members can get involved by donating needed items, supporting local outreach efforts, sharing information about the event with veterans and families who may benefit, and helping strengthen the network of care available to those who served our country.
